Water Polo: Ungerer Goes Into DHS History Books

Grade 12 learner, Joshua Ungerer, will on Saturday 2nd November 2013, enter the DHS history books when he plays his 150th cap for the DHS 1st Water Polo team against Northwood.

Ungerer who is currently the 1st team Goalkeeper, began training with the 1st team in Grade 8 - playing League with them that year.  In Grade 9 he was put straight into the 1st Team and has been a committed 1st team player ever since and has received Honours for his efforts.

Out of all of the games played over the years- he has only ever missed one game showing his dedication to the sport.

This 150th game will be Ungerer’s last at DHS as he is now currently writing his Matric finals.

DHS wish Joshua well and salute him for showing his loyalty to the sport and for sharing his incredible talent with the school.
