A bye weekend for Paul Roos Gym and Grey College allowed Glenwood to nudge a little bit closer to the two leaders after a comprehensive win by a motivated DHS side.

This Week’s School Rugby results from around South Africa: 

Northwood climb into the second spot on this week’s U14 School Rugby Rankings after another confident boosting win and keep their phenomenal form for this season going strong.

Another victory for Grey College this time over the powerful Affies team has helped them cement their place at the top of this week’s U15 School Rugby Rankings .

It is 12 wins from 12 matches for the powerful Paarl Gym team who brushed aside Oakdale in a hard fought for victory to remain the kings of the castle on this week’s U16 Top 100 rankings.

It was a thunderous display from Paul Roos Gym who proceeded to clinically dispose of Paarl Boys High this weekend, a team who have ridden the crest of school rugby for the past few years, but this time were made to look out of sorts.

Grey College moved up a couple of places to nestle in at position No.2 this week on the U14 School Rugby Rankings which still sees Paarl Gym out in front.

Helpmekaar are knocking on the door of the top 5 zone on this week’s SA School Sports U15 Rugby Rankings after a strong win over Transvalia and along with Boishaai move up a notch thanks in part to Selborne who slip down after their match against Grey College.

Paarl Gim were pushed hard by a Rondebosch side who have yet to get their season going in 2018 but at the end showed their class to take the victory and remain the leaders amongst the U16 teams on this week’s U16 Rankings.

It was yet another slam dunk performance by the mercurial Paul Roos Gym side who came, saw and conquered Bishops to remain the leading team on this week’s First XV Top 100 Rankings.

Very little has changed on the U14 School Rugby Rankings for this week with Paarl Gym still out in front after their impressive win over Paul Roos Gym.

Grey College recorded a solid win in their unyielding match against Boishaai and in so doing remain at the very top of the U15 School Rugby Rankings for another week.

Paarl Gym U16’s managed to keep the pressure on the rest of the teams in the country after completing a seemingly comfortable win over Paul Roos Gym who never seemed to be able to match the overall play of Gimmies.

Yet another devastatingly clinical performance by Paul Roos Gym this time over a powerful Paarl Gym side has served to cement PRG firmly in the No. 1 spot on this week’s SA School Sports First XV Top 100 Rankings.

Paarl Gym remain the top team amongst the U14’s for this week after notching up another two victories during the past week.

Outeniqua were the big movers on an otherwise stable top half of the table in this week’s U15 School Rugby Rankings.

After another successful campaign at the Wildeklawer Festival, Paarl Gim remains the top U16 rugby team in the country as they surge onwards during this unbeaten run.

The Wildeklawer Festival took hold of school rugby and as usual gave it an almighty shake-up as many of the top teams in the country faced off in what we have come to expect as a spectacle of school rugby.

Paarl Gim remains on top of this Week’s U16 Rugby Rankings after a good win over SACS and they look like they will be a difficult team to dislodge.

Affies secured their place amongst the top three leading U15 teams in the country with yet another convincing win which sees them well placed on this week’s U15 Rugby Rankings.

Paarl Gim shifted gears rapidly in their match against SACS and put on a ruthless display in what turned out to be a one-sided encounter on the day. However the win keep’s the U14 Paarl Gim side way out in front in the No. 1 position for this week on the U14 School Rugby Rankings.
