KES enters the top 10 of this week’s U15 School Rugby Rankings following their resounding win over St John’s College last week which is still led by Paarl Gim.

Hilton College got handed their first defeat of the season when they faced a resurgent Westville outfit that put up a great defence to help claim a memorable win.

It was the case of ‘one day you are the rooster , the next day you are the feather duster’ for Paul Roos Gym when they took on Paarl Gim this past weekend.

Grey College hung on as if their lives depended on it in their first outing against Paarl Boys High and if their 8-5 result was anything to go by, these two sets of teams have tough encounters ahead of them as they progress through the ages.

Rondebosch U15’s continue their upwards surge as they chip away at the wall that separates them from a place amongst the top 5 teams in the country on this week’s U15 School Rugby Top 100 Rankings.

Westville who had been enjoying a great start to the season in 2019 suffered another narrow defeat last week at the hands of Affies which has seen the Durban team slip out of the top 10 zone on this week’s U16 School Rugby Top 100 Rankings.

Michaelhouse hosted Kearsney on their Founders’ weekend in ideal Midlands playing conditions.

A crushing performance by Grey College over Boishaai allows the Bloemfontein outfit to take up occupancy of the penthouse on this week’s SA School Sports First XV Top 100 Rankings for another week.

Outeniqua have clinched the No.2 spot on the SA School Sports U14 School Rugby Rankings Top 100 for this week following a devastating run last week.

Two emphatic wins over Transvalia and EG Jansen has helped to cement Paarl Gim at the pinnacle of this week’s SA SchoolSports U15 Top 100 Rankings for yet another week.

Oakdale took a tumble in their match against a motivated Menlopark side but they manage to doggedly remain in the top five on this week’s SA School Sport U16 School Rugby Top 100 Rankings.

Grey College put on a display of clinical class at the Wildeklawer Tournament brushing aside the challenges of Outeniqua and Paarl Gim and in so doing rise to take the No.1 spot on this week’s SA School Sports First XV Top 100 Rankings.

HTS Drostdy suffered their second successive defeat when they went down narrowly to Boshaai and after a great start to the season slip out of the top five of this week’s U14 Top 100 Rankings.

Framesby High School is a school in Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape who have been steadily become one of the top rugby schools in the country. The old school way.

Paarl Gim handed Oakdale a rugby lesson last week to confirm that they are still this week’s No. 1 team on the SA SchoolSports U15 Top 100 Rankings.

Oakdale passed their biggest test of the season when they took on a powerful Paarl Gim side in a match that has kept the Riverdale side in the top 3 of this week’s U16 SA SchoolSports Top 100 Rankings.

The weather had a hand to play in the Easter Festival matches that took place over the weekend with most of the festivals having to call some matches off.
