Cricket: This Week's Belgotex Top 50 Rankings: 1/11/2016

Affies enjoyed a couple of strong wins during the past week which has helped to keep them at the top of the Belgotex First Team Rankings for this week, although St.Stithians are within reach of clinching the top spot if they can keep their unbeaten run intake.

It was Ruan van Tonder with a massive 152 runs that helped Affies knock up a huge 469/7 against Parktown who were always going to be up against it and suffered a thumping loss by 340 runs. Affies have several run machines in the side with the likes of Herman Rolfes and Ximus du Plooy all striking good form for the Pretoria team.

It what would have nudged Rondebosch into the top three zone if they had managed to claim a victory over SACS ended in a frustrating draw as SACS desperately managed to hang on for a draw with a single wicket in hand as Daniel Moriarty ripped through their line up ending with impressive figures of 5/34.
